Review: Running Towards Love by Marisa Adams

A novella based on the characters from IS LOVE ENOUGH.

For ten years, Danny and Nikki Camarelli have shared everything until Nikki overhears a conversation leading her to believe his honesty has been nothing but a lie.  When Nikki disappears for a few days, Danny is frantic with worry before he finds out she has traveled to visit their best friends in Texas.

Shortly after she arrives, Nikki confides the horrible truth to Jason and Rebekah Taylor, completely unsure as to what her future holds.  But Danny won’t give her up without a fight.  Can Nikki remember all the reasons she should be RUNNING TOWARDS LOVE before it’s too late?

I haven’t read the first book, Is Love Enough.  I will admit that was a small fear of mine.  I was afraid that some events would have been continuations from the first book.  I can honestly say reading the first book is not a requirement.  However, you will definitely want to read it after reading this.

Running Towards Love is a sweet romance.  Meaning, there aren't intimate bedroom scenes and if there are, the scenes are insinuated, without details being given.

This short story focuses on Nikki and Danny Camarelli, who are the best friends of Jason and Rebekah Taylor from Is Love Enough.  I love that throughout the whole book you can feel how much Nikki and Danny love each other, and sense the true friendship both couples have with one and other.  While you will figure out what Nikki misheard, it’s still great to watch how the characters interact with each other, given the information they were provided.

Running Towards Love is the story of what happens when one person gets the WORST news of their life and then jumps to conclusions about something else.  It’s a story of why you should never keep secrets and always be willing to speak up for yourself.

I really enjoyed this story.
