releases January 28, 2014

"Reese Bars are a family favorite because they're quick and easy--and taste like Reese Cups! They're also WAY easier to make than Peanut Butter balls, which you have to dip. And I'm all for convenience during the madhouse of Christmas baking."
Emma Cane’s Reese Bars
1 stick + 3 Tbs. melted butter
1 c. peanut butter
16 graham cracker squares, crushed
2 c. powdered sugar
12 oz. package chocolate chips
Melt butter and add to peanut butter.  Add graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar.  Spread in a 9” x 13” cake pan.  Refrigerate for a half hour.  Melt chocolate chips and spread evenly over peanut butter mixture.  Refrigerate ten more minutes, deeply score into bar shapes, then refrigerate until hardened.

    1. Hi Janice.

Thank you for stopping by. I haven't read these books from Lori yet. I bought them as separate books I think last year and just never got to them. :( Hopefully I'll get to them this year.

    1. Hi Anita.

      Sugar cookies...decorated...Hmmm..

I was actually trying to figure out how to decorate sugar cookies this morning. I've NEVER done it before. Thinking I'm going to have to try pretty soon. Especially since we found that I had 3, no 4, different sets of cookie cutters. With 3 not even being opened.
