Where There's Smoke. . . by Donna Kauffman
When flames from a recipe gone disastrously wrong send hunky firefighter Will Mason to pretty Clara Parker's rescue, the sparks really begin to fly! And once Will gets a taste of Clara, he aches for more than just a little sugar from the famously single food columnist....

Where There’s Smoke ~ REVIEW

With WHERE THERE’S SMOKE... written by Donna Kauffman you get a second chance at love and romance with a former firefighter and a not so good cook, who has the fire department on speed dial.  Will and Clara originally met in college, but lost touch after Will left college due to his father’s death.  The two meet again in a bookstore and are reminded of their past.  When Clara sets her house on fire, Will is there to help her in the kitchen and put her life on track.

The Gingerbread Man
Folks have always told fun-loving Abby Denton that her anatomically correct Gingerbread cookies are. . .impressive. But those erotic cookies have nothing on the sexy stranger Abby saves from a snowy country road. Could Lander Reynolds be the Christmas treat she's truly been longing for?
The Gingerbread Man ~ REVIEW
In Kate Angell’s THE GINGERBREAD MAN, my FAVORITE of all the stories, you have two strangers needing to reconnect with the spirit and magic of Christmas.  Abby Denton and Lander Reynolds meet and fall in love after Abby saves Lander’s life and then are trapped by a blizzard.  Okay, so he wouldn't have needed to be saved if it wasn't for her anatomically correct gingerbread men.  But still... This is a wonderful romance.

Sugar And Spice
When caterer Lily Callahan goes up against hotshot pastry chef Pete Mancuso in the bake-off of the season, the stakes are high--and scandalously passionate. Will the gorgeous gourmand steal Lily's heart--and the top prize in the Christmas cookie competition?
Sugar and Spice ~ REVIEW
And finally, Kimberly Kincaid gives you an almost enemies to lovers/forbidden romance with SUGAR AND SPICE.  Maybe my category for this novella is a little off.  I mean, are you actually supposed to fall head over chef clogs for the man who unknowingly dumped one of your best friends over the phone in a grocery store, with the whole town hearing about it?  Lily Callahan and Pete Mancuso are both entered in a Christmas cookie competition sponsored by the Pine Mountain Resort.  The top prize is $10,000 and bragging rights.  For one, this is a chance to fulfill a lifelong dream.  For the other, it’s a chance to show what they’re really made of and boost their career.  What neither expects is to bare their soul for all to see and loss their heart in the process.

I loved how each author took a friend to write about them, giving you a peek into their writing style.  All in all, THE SUGAR COOKIE SWEETHEART SWAP is good start to the Pine Mountain series that will be written by Kimberly Kincaid.  While reading this book, be prepared to laugh, almost cry, and fall in love with the characters.  Oh, and of course, with all the mention of cookies, be prepared to get hungry.
A favorite line ~ “It’s not the length of time you know a person, but the depth of the connection.”
