I LOVED Secrets on the Sand, the first book in Roxanne St. Claire’s The Billionaires of Barefoot Bay Series. Meet Ezekiel (Zeke) Nicholas billionaire extraordinaire and Mindy Mitchell who is working as a maid in order to pay off debts incurred from her failed marriage.
Mindy identifies herself as Amanda Lockhart, but eventually, Zeke asks her if she is actually Mandy Mitchell. Zeke introduces himself, but Mindy doesn’t remember him. When Zeke tells her his full name the first words out of her mouth are “Ezekiel the Geekiel”. Zeke can't believe it's her. Then an innocent scene is taken the wrong way and she pays for it.
What once was imaginary becomes reality. Reading this book had me laughing at some of the lines Mandy said to Zeke. For example, “I have to think about it. I have to sleep on you, I mean, on it.”. The heat between these two is scorching. Zeke is so sweet, kind, and romantic. He goes to some great lengths to prove himself to Mandy.
The name of this book is perfect. You will love Secrets on the Sand as much as I did. Roxanne St. Claire has a winner trilogy that has just begun, so hang on for the ride and enjoy. I'm so looking forward to reading Seduction on the Sand.
