Seducing the Girl Next Door (Bencher Family Series, #3.5)
by: Inara Scott

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: November 24, 2014

When Jenna Kellington was fourteen, her first high school boyfriend—her first love—moved away. Now the years have passed. Jenna has been married, a mother of three, and divorced. But it took a business trip to Beijing, China where Jenna finally reunites with Simon Hastings...finding a pleasure she never dreamed existed.

Billionaire venture capitalist Simon Hastings swore he would never be like his father, moving from place to place and never settling down. Still, he's never forgotten Jenna, or that spark they once had that's grown into very adult desire. With every touch, every caress, Simon shows Jenna how to let go. How to feel pleasure. How to own her own sensuality. But Simon will never settle down, or take the risk of love.

And now it's too late. For Jenna has broken her own rule, and fallen fast—and hard—for the man she can never have...

REVIEW
Inara Scott's Bencher Family series is one of my favourites from the Indulgence imprint.  Jenna Kellington isn't strictly a Bencher anymore but she'll forever have ties to the family as Mum to Ross Bencher's kids, who we met in Falling for Mr. Wrong.  And whilst Seducing the Girl Next Door could be read as a standalone, it's the perfect companion novella.

I always wondered what possessed Jenna to let Ross go.  This novella answers that question.  And if she hadn't divorced him we wouldn't be meeting Simon Hastings which would be a travesty.  I loved them together; he was her first love, she was his and they never got the chance to discover what life held in store for them...

"I always thought you would be my first."
"S**t Jen.  You can't imagine how much I wanted that."

One thing is certain when you pick up an Inara Scott book - it'll be sexy, romantic and leave you with a happy heart.  And believe me, my heart is in its happy place from all the sexy between this couple and sigh inducing moments from Simon.  Their chemistry lights up the pages and whilst short, there's no scrimping on the intimacy.  I devoured it; it may not have held any great surprises but who cares, I could have happily read a full length novel and if you loved the previous books, you will love this.  And if you haven't read this series, you really should.

"I missed you like a hole in my heart."
