Black Friday Book Bonanza Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the fifth annual Black Friday Book Bonanza! We are just three weekends away from Christmas!  There are 28 days until Christmas, if you want to be exact.

Are you planning on going out and braving the masses?  How about you get cozy with us in your jammies with some hot cocoa, and enter to win some new-to-you books and/or gift cards! The hosts for this event are Jennifer @ BookShelfery.com and Kimberly @ Caffeinatedbookreviewer.com.

This giveaway will run from 12:01am on November 27 through 12:01am November 30 (basically the entire Thanksgiving weekend).

For this giveaway, I’m going with a holiday romance theme.  I have paperback copies of The Trouble with Christmas, Baby, It’s Cold Outside and Playing with Fire looking for a new home with someone in the US.  The books are brand new, never opened.

The Trouble with Christmas by Debbie Mason (signed by the author)

It will take a Christmas miracle to melt her heart.

Resort developer Madison Lane is about to lose the one thing she loves most in the world—her job. Dubbed "The Grinch Who Killed Christmas," Madison spoiled a deal that would turn quaint Christmas, Colorado, into a tourist's winter wonderland. Now the citizens want her fired but the company gives her one last chance, sending Madison to the small town to restore the holiday cheer.

For Sheriff Gage McBride, no hotshot executive from New York City is going to destroy the dreams of the people he loves. But one look at this beautiful woman and it's his heart that may be broken. In just a few days, Madison causes more trouble than he's had to deal with all year. He can't decide if she's naughty or nice, but one thing is for certain—Christmas will never be the same again...

Playing with Fire by Kate Meader

From popular romance author Kate Meader comes the second novel in Hot in Chicago, a brand-new, sizzling series that follows a group of firefighting foster siblings and their blazing hot love interests!

As the only female firefighter at Engine Co. 6, Alexandra Dempsey gets it from all sides: the male coworkers who think she can’t do the job, the wives and girlfriends who see her as a threat to their firefighter men, and her overprotective foster brothers who want to shelter their baby sister at all costs. So when she single-handedly saves the life of Eli Cooper, Chicago’s devastatingly handsome mayor, she assumes the respect she’s longed for will finally come her way. But it seems Mr. Mayor has other ideas…

Eli Cooper’s mayoral ratings are plummeting, his chances at reelection dead in the water. When a sexy, curvaceous firefighter gives him the kiss of life, she does more than bring him back to the land of the living—she also breathes vitality into his campaign. Riding the wave of their feel-good story might prop up Eli’s flagging political fortunes, but the sizzling attraction between them can go nowhere; he’s her boss, and there are rules that must be obeyed. But you know what they say about rules: they’re made to be broken…

  4. Thank you so much for the giveaway! I love Kate Meader. :) I don't plan on doing any Black Friday shopping because it's practically on Thursday! So I didn't go anywhere yesterday. I'll do some online shopping though. :D

    Thank you!

  18. Thank you all for entering. The consensus is NO BLACK FRIDAY MALL SHOPPING. Like most people have mentioned, I went out once, maybe twice, on Black Friday. Never doing it again. (Okay, honestly, I've been known to send my husband out to get me a purse or a village house.) In fact, I'm sure you all heard about the big tv deal at Best Buy, 48" tv for like $150. My husband actually got an email on Friday, saying hey, you can order this online. Oops. There were a lot of people who camped out for days for that deal. I could care less about the tv, but man....I really wanted it, just because he could order it online. Too bad we didn't need one and have no room for it in our house.

I'm that person who starts saving in June for Christmas. I start making my list, then in October start shopping and I'm usually done by Thanksgiving. My husband use to think I was crazy. But when he realized that I was able to get the top toys and a lot of stuff on sale, he stopped complaining. Only this year, I didn't start shopping. :( Man oh man, did I ever hear him complain about me being a slacker. I spent my Thanksgiving online shopping for deals.

For all of you didn't get out and brave the weather and crowds over the weekend, I hope you enjoy Cyber Monday. Don't forget Free Shipping Day is December 18th. There are currently almost 600 retailers participating in the day. For more information or to find out which retailers are taking part, just search for Free Shipping Day 2015.

My winner has been selected and notified. Thank you all for stopping by.
