Kelly Moran could not have come up with a better title for her latest book. Exposure reveals secrets held hidden for more than twenty years. It is an intriguing tale of love, loss, friendship, and discovery. It’s also a story of revenge.
Ten years ago, Noah Caldwell met Raven Crowne on the first day of college. They immediately became best friends. They never crossed the line, but have always wondered. All this time, they have each carried secrets from their pasts. Now, Noah finally has a chance to admit his feelings for Raven. The only question is if Raven is willing to accept Noah’s feelings and return them.
I loved Exposure. It’s erotic mixed with an element of suspense. From the beginning, I was intrigued by this story. Admittedly, I didn’t know what to expect. I consistently found myself amazed by Noah’s strength, courage, determination, and love for Raven. Raven herself surprised me with the hidden layers she herself had. These two are great friends who are comfortable with one another. When they come together on an intimate level, they are hot enough to burn down a house.
I say the story has a suspense element to it and it truly does. Once the truth is out, there’s no secret who the villain is. Waiting on them to exact their revenge takes time and you do get a sense that there will definitely be revenge, with a deadly ending. Needless to say, I was still a little surprised.
Exposure marks my first time reading a Kelly Moran book. I loved the way she weaved a friends to lovers romance with several sub-plots all coming together to make an incredible story. Her writing is so that once you start, you aren’t going to want to stop. Exposure is a must read.
