Sometimes the perfect match is right under your nose…

Doctor Benny Sorensen has had it up to here with her party-throwing playboy neighbor. She’s declaring war. She doesn’t care how gorgeous or charming he is, he’s going down. That is until he proposes something she’s not sure she can say no to…

Wealthy ad man Henry Ellison lives an uncomplicated life that revolves around work, women, and partying. In that order. Until Benny storms into his life. To placate his attractive but hotheaded neighbor, Henry offers to help her land a date with the man of her dreams. Only as Henry makes her over and coaches her on the fine art of flirting, he realizes that the idea of this woman in any other man’s arms but his own is unacceptable. But Benny’s a forever kind of girl and forever might just be the one commitment he can’t make.

REVIEW
Okay, let’s just get this part out of the way.... The Playboy’s Proposal was a really nice sweet romance.  I loved every part of this story.  I’m a fan of this series and I wondered how Benny would handle and find love.  Henry was the perfect match for her.

Benny Sorensen has finally graduated medical school and is ready to venture out and enjoy the spoils of being a Pediatric Doctor.  Her splurge is a one-bedroom condo in a very nice, desireable location.  Her problem is her neighbor, Henry Ellison, who is a trust fund party every night playboy.  The two have never met face to face, however, when one party seems to be never ending, Benny decides to change all that.

After Benny, with the help of her sister-in-law, complains to the HOA she and Henry strike up a deal to play nice.  Henry will help Benny catch the eye of her heart’s desire, Dr. Luke Seeley and she will call off the HOA.  What follows is a enemies to friends to lovers romance with a fair share of sweet, hilarious moments.

Henry helps Benny gain a confidence in herself she never knew she was missing.  He helps her see who she really is and what she’s capable of.  In Benny, Henry finds the one woman who could care less about who he is, or his money.  Benny pulls no punches when it comes to him.  She introduces him to a more relaxed way of life.  These are just a couple of reasons why these two are so perfect together.  And Henry is really cool with kids!

Ashlee Mallory has reminded me why I’m a fan of Entangled’s Bliss line.  From start to finish, The Playboy’s Proposal was an enjoyable read.  There’s also the added benefit of getting to visit with the whole Sorensen family, including the couples from the previous books.  One of the best things about this book is that it’s a standalone read.  But you don’t want to miss the other books.  I’m going to be patiently waiting to see what Ashlee has in store for the last Sorensen book.  It promises to be really special when a divorced single mom with three kids finds her true happily-ever-after.
