REVIEW
Christmas time can be very exciting. But, it’s also a time for stress. There’s shopping for gifts, planning parties, and spending time with friends and loved ones. This year, not only is Amy Ridley trying to do all that, but she’s also battling Mother Nature’s winter fury, her nemesis Rayshelle Applebee, and other contestants in the Holiday Celebrations Competition.
Christmas is a time for merriment and good will towards man. But not everyone feels this way. Strange things are happening at the competition. Amy thinks there’s a Grinch in the midst, but her sleuthing could lead her to a forever silent night.
I found Christmas Canapés & Sabotage to be an enjoyable read. It’s relatively short which might be the reason I didn’t feel overly invested in the outcome. I missed the series characters that I’ve come to love. This short story is a standalone read, but I think as a reader you would enjoy it more if you are already familiar with the series.
