Nothing ignites a fire like the perfect match…

Anna Weber is every inch the proper librarian—old-fashioned, conservatively dressed right down to her tightly clipped flaming red hair. She's just moved to a small Texas town, and is determined to spend time with her friend before she has to disappear. Relationships aren’t easy for her. She knows too well what it means to be burned. And the last thing she ever wants to do is fall in love…

Especially not with a fireman who's hot enough to set the entire state of Texas on fire.

Cowboy can't resist the fiery little librarian, and he's determined to make her his. Beneath that prim-and-proper exterior is a woman he very much wants to know—if she'd let him. She'll test his patience. His control. Hell, his very sanity. And for the first time, Cowboy wonders if he's found the one fire he can't control...

Today, I’m super excited to have Cowboy from Alison Bliss’ Playing with Fire stopping by the blog.  Readers first met Cowboy in Rules of Protection, the first book in the Tangled in Texas Series.  Gawd, I fell in love with him in that book.  So, without further ado, Cowboy is going to tell us some things about himself.

Hey Cowboy.  Welcome to Read Your Writes Book Reviews.
Howdy, Miss Kim.  Thank you for inviting me to be here today. I appreciate your hospitality. Alison asked me to thank you…and threatened to kill me off in the next book if I embarrassed her.  Well, I guess we’ll see what happens…

She could NEVER kill you off.  People love you too much.  Let’s get down to business.  I’m going to ask some quick questions and you answer.  Okay?  Alright, darlin’.

(Oh God. He called me darlin’.  I must breathe.)  What’s your birth name?  Just call me Cowboy, darlin’.

(Damn, it’s getting warm in here.)  How did you get the name Cowboy?  I would say it’s because I’m known for wearing my signature white Stetson, but my friends would probably say it’s because I’ve always rounded up the most women. Both are true.

How old are you?  31

How tall are you?  6’2”

What color is your hair under that Stetson?  Sandy-blond

What color are your eyes?  Green

Where are you from?  Liberty, Texas

Go, Panthers!  What do you do for a living?  Firefighter.  “Find ‘em hot, leave ‘em wet”

(Gasp.  God help me.  It’s really hot in here.)  What do you drive?  My jacked-up red Chevy truck…or occasionally you can find me on the back of a horse.

What’s your favorite drink?  Beer…or a glass of ice cold sweet tea. Just don’t ask me to drink any of that herbal junk.

What’s your favorite food?  Women. *grin*

(Gasp.  Laughing really hard.)  Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

No problem.  What’s a typical Friday/Saturday night like for you?  Hanging out at The Backwoods with my buddies, shaking my ass on the dance floor, and ending my night with a beautiful woman in my bed.

What’s your favorite song?  Luke Bryan’s That’s My Kind of Night.

I love Luke Bryan.  What’s your favorite movie?  Hmm… Does porn count?  If not, I’d say 8 Seconds, though I always last much longer than that.

Oh, Lord.  You’re a handful.  Boxers or Briefs?  Neither. Commando all the way.

And, I walked right into that one.  What’s your best quality?  If I’m supposed to keep this answer PG, I reckon I’d say my southern charm. But if not… *smirk*

(Smiling and shaking my head.  Oh my gosh.?  What’s your biggest pet peeve?  Men who mistreat women.

What’s your best memory to date?  The moment my girl told me she loved me.

What are your words to live by?  God always takes care of helpless creatures.

Thanks for the interview Cowboy.  One more question...What's the one thing Alison Bliss did to you that you didn't like?
This is an easy one. For a second there, I thought Miss Alison was going to have me smack dab in the middle of some kinky bondage scene.  Thankfully, she went a different direction with it.  I’m not really all that into being trussed up like a rodeo calf. Hell, if anything, I prefer to do the ropin’.
Thank you for having me on your blog, Miss Kim. I’m grateful to be here and if you ever take a trip down to Texas, you be sure to stop in and see me. *winks and tips hat*

Lordie, lordie.  I did not expect that.  (Fanning myself.)  Oh, I almost forgot. Cowboy left a picture of himself to share with everyone.

You can read all about Cowboy’s story in Playing with Fire.  Maybe, just maybe, we’ll find out what his real name is.

Rules of Protection ~ Review

Alison Bliss grew up in Small Town, Texas, but currently resides in the Midwest with her husband and two sons. With so much testosterone in her home, it's no wonder she writes "girl books." She believes the best way to know if someone is your soul mate is by canoeing with them because if you both make it back alive, it's obviously meant to be. Alison pens the type of books she loves to read most: fun, steamy love stories with heart, heat, laughter, and usually a cowboy or two. As she calls it, "Romance...with a sense of humor."
