Romantic Comedy or Action movie? Romantic comedy for sure. I love them!
Fall or Summer? Fall. I live in Arizona so the summers are brutal. We live for the Fall here when the weather is in the 70’s and 80’s.Summer Vacation or Winter Vacation? Summer Vacation. My family used to go on one each summer and now my husband and I do the same thing with our children. Plus, it is a great way to escape the Arizona heat.Sunrise or Sunset? Sunset for sure. I’m not a morning person.New Adult or YA? New Adult – I like the steaminess.Sand under your toes or hitting the slopes? Sand, definitely. The ocean is one of my favorite places in the world. I feel at peace there. Some day I would love to retire near the ocean somewhere.Slow burning romance or hot and heavy romance? Slow burn. I love me some sexual tension. The build up always makes the outcome worth it!Realistic fiction or paranormal storyline? Is there such a thing as realistic fiction? I personally think it is called fiction for a reason. I mean sure, contemporary novels are based on real life events vs. paranormal storylines, but I don’t really expect my books to always be 100% realistic. I mean... they’re entertainment you know? Having said that, I love contemporary romance but eventually I have to get my paranormal fix too. I love both!Early to Rise or Night owl? Night owl for sure. Pretty Little Lies was written between the hours of 11PM and 3AM over the course of several months. I would begin writing after my children went to bed and my husband and I chatted. Crazy hours that caught up to me eventually!Music when writing or no music? Music. It isn’t like I sing along or anything, it becomes a comforting background noise like white noise.Shopping spree at a book store or shopping spree at your favorite hand bag store? I am the biggest handbag slut ever. Seriously. I LOVE THEM. I can’t even tell you how many I have. Seriously, I don’t know. I love to read, but I would go for a gorgeous Coach bag or Chanel bag over a few books any day.Nails painted or manicured? Manicured. I love the look of painted nails.Reading or Writing? Both. For me, they go hand in hand. I couldn’t have one without the other!
Author Jennifer Miller was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, but now calls Arizona home. Jennifer’s love of reading began when she was a small child, and only continued to grow as she entered adulthood. Ever since winning a writing contest at the young age of nine, when she wrote a book about a girl with a pet unicorn, she’s dreamed of writing a book of her own. Quickly learning that dreams don’t just fall into your lap, she knew she had to chase them herself and not be afraid to dream a little bigger. Most importantly, she is a wife and mother, and is very lucky to have a family that loves and supports her in all things. She also has an unhealthy addiction to handbags and chocolate covered strawberries, neither of which she cares to change.
