The fiercely private Madeleine-Cora Spencer is the last person who should be on a reality TV show, but when she's shunned by a friend's new wife because "you can't trust desperate single women" her pain and humiliation drive her straight to the "Find Your Prince" dating show's web site.
Armed with date-appropriate clothes and a detailed game plan she arrives to meet her potential loves, only to be dumped... on a remote island with seven ex-boyfriends.
Seven exes! Could this be any worse?
REVIEW
I liked Seven Exes Are Eight Too Many a lot, even if the ending was predictable. The characters were likable and relatable and I was cheering and booing right along with the cast of these colorful characters. It would be great to read this book from Kent's perspective instead of just MC's. MC is a strong woman, hides her emotions really well and learns how this isn't always a good thing. Being on reality TV brings it all to light and she grows in a lot of ways. Some of the chapters didn't segue together very well, that's my only critique, otherwise the book was really good.
