Six dates. No games, no promises.

Stressed out hotel heiress Arden St. Sebastian is in Maui for one thing and one thing only. Work. But when the hottie at the bar buys her a drink to end all frilly umbrella-and-glow stick drinks, she can’t help but accept his unspoken invitation. When they get back to her villa, however, and the sexy moment of truth arrives, she can’t…quite…get there. Again.

ER resident Nick Bancroft can handle a night of fun, anonymous sex, but he draws the line at a fake orgasm. He makes his mystery woman a deal. He’ll take care of her little stress-induced orgasm problem if she’ll spend the next six days exploring the island with him, no questions asked.

A week of island relaxation on the arm of the sexiest man she’s ever met? Arden’s game. As long as she keeps her identity secret, she’s got nothing to lose…except her heart.

Samanthe Beck continues her Compromise Me series with Compromised in Paradise.  The lucky couple falling in love in paradise is hotel heiress Arden St. Sebastian and ER doctor Nick Bancroft.  This is the classic take of a one night stand that never ends.

Arden has been dealing with a lot of stress over the past six months or so.  Her father has retired from the family business, but continues to question all of her business decisions.  He’s also butting into her personal life, after finding out she was being blackmailed by an ex-lover. While she’s on business in Maui, he insists that she goes on a blind date with the nephew of business associates.

Nick is living the dream in paradise.  He works hard at the local hospital as an ER doctor.  But he also plays the field with tourists visiting the island.  He’s not looking for a relationship after a devastating loss.  In order to make his aunt happy, he reluctantly agrees to go on a blind date with Arden St. Sebastian.

As you might have guessed, Arden and Nick’s families are trying to set them up with each other.  But before this blind date can happen, the two meet each other on their own.  Only no names are exchanged and their encounter is supposed to only be a one-night stand.  Things change when Nick realizes that Arden faked her climax and gets her to agree to spend the rest of her stay with him, with the end goal of being a mind shattering climax she will never forget.

Both Arden and Nick are likeable characters.  They have fun together, both inside and outside of the bedroom.  Their encounters aren’t all about the sex itself, but building on trust and intimacy.  Nick is a dirty talker who makes Arden say what she likes and what she wants.  I loved watching them get to know each other without knowing who the other actually was. More importantly, I loved watching them fall in love and them coming to terms with the feelings that took them by surprise.
