She can’t hit the snooze on her biological clock forever…

Love, career, kids—Brooklyn Monroe wants it all. Her beauty company? A triumph. Her love life? Total fail. At 42, that makes motherhood her top priority. With no man in her life, she’s prepared to fly solo, but her plan is derailed when a mailing list mishap turns Brooklyn into a someone-get-me-pregnant internet meme. Making her PR nightmare go away entails a soul-baring interview on national TV. And the guy asking the questions? Her all-too sexy ex.

Talk show host Alec Trakas is the king of bad timing. Case in point, his heartbreaking romance with Brooklyn. Alec was all about commitment but Brooklyn was launching her start-up, and forever wasn’t in the cards. Now a shot at his ultimate dream job depends on convincing Brooklyn to spill the secrets leading to her viral celebrity. It sets Alec’s star rising, but puts Brooklyn in a sea of flirty men. Fate has thrown them back together. Sparks are flying. But is the timing finally right? Because having it all might not be worth the risk of losing each other again.

Oh my gosh!! Karen Booth’s Brooklyn Monroe Wants It All is truly EVERYTHING!

Need more? Okay.

I’m loving Karen’s seasoned romance series Never Too Late. Brooklyn Monroe Wants It All is the standalone second book in the series.

As little girls, we're told we can have it all, children, family, a career. At some point in our lives, we learn that isn't truly the case. Something has to give. At the age of 42, Brooklyn has put in the time to make her business successful. And by time, I mean practically every waking moment. Seven years ago, Brooklyn and her sister Virginia founded Posh Post, a beauty subscription service worth about 400 million dollars. Seeing her sister happily married with kids, she now realizes she wants more. She’s surprised to realize her time for being able to have biological children, naturally, is winding down. What's a woman to do? Brooklyn plans on becoming a single mother and raising a child on her own. With no romantic partner in sight, Brooklyn’s only option is to go to a fertility center. Around the same time, as fate would have it, Brooklyn runs into her ex-boyfriend, media personally Alec Trakes. To both their surprise, there is still a spark of interest between them. But after an awkward exchange, they go their separate ways.

An in-house joke becomes public when boxes of Posh Post’s latest endeavor Posh Post Male test boxes are mailed to thousands of men. A frenzy to interview Brooklyn ensues and Alec, wanting to advance his career, reaches out to Brooklyn to do an exclusive interview on his morning show, Good Day USA. Through a series of slip-ups and misunderstandings, Brooklyn and Alec enter into a fake relationship. As things become real again the issues of kids and other reasons for the initial breakup resurface. But true love reigns supreme.

Karen is one of those authors who I don’t think knows how good she is. She’s taken an issue that women have been dealing with for years and put it out in the open. She gives great life advice and she manages to put you into the story. Honestly, Brooklyn Monroe Wants It All was everything.
