He needs her help. She needs to keep her hands off her hot new client in the first Little Black Book of Secrets novel by Karen Booth!

Parker was not a guy she was supposed to touch.

Right?

Celebrity publicist Chloe Burnett keeps her work and personal life strictly separate—until sports agent Parker Sullivan needs her help. His client has been targeted by Little Black Book, a vicious gossip account. If she’s going to win this social media battle, she needs to resist distractions from Parker the playboy, who is off-limits for so many reasons. But a business trip to Miami leads to her breaking her rules with a guy who might break her heart. And then she’s caught in Little Black Book’s crosshairs herself…

From Harlequin Desire: A luxurious world of bold encounters and sizzling chemistry.

The Problem with Playboys is the first book in Karen Booth’s Little Black Book of Secrets series. The series focuses on three best friends who met each other while attending the Baldwell School for Girls, a prep school in central Connecticut. The series follows their lives and careers as they fall in love. However, there's someone who doesn't want them or other affluential people to be happy and has made it their mission to embarrass and bring them down.

Parker Sullivan and Chloe Burnett are technically step-siblings. But that's all going to change in a matter of weeks once their parents get divorced. George Sullivan and Eliza Burnett have a history of falling in love and getting married on a whim. As result, though they've been married for about a year, their kids have never met each other. Chloe is tasked with going to George's home to retrieve her mother's belongings, and Parker is tasked with making sure that Eliza only gets what actually belongs to her.

Chloe and Parker each have a bout of lust at first sight. He doesn't see why they can't go out with each other. The two start discussing their careers and learn that Chloe owns her own PR company and Parker is a sports agent, who has recently signed Miami's rookie star quarterback, Marcus Grant. Parker is pretty arrogant and proceeds to put down Chloe's career. But the joke is on him. A new and unknown social media account going by the name LittleBlackBook promises to get dirt on those who “run in rich and powerful circles”. For some reason, Marcus is in its crosshairs and gets exposed for being with the wrong crowd. Not knowing where to turn, Parker calls Chloe and falls on the proverbial sword.

Chloe is very good at her job and devises a plan to restore Marcus’s reputation. She just doesn’t count on Parker being so hands on. While the two are in Miami, they decide to mix business with a little pleasure. They draw the ire of LittleBlackBook, who knows that one of them is trying to find out who they are. Parker and Chloe are opposites, yet very combustible. They really have a hard time keeping their hands off of each other, much to the pleasure of LittleBlackBook who exposes them and their parents.

I immediately loved Chloe and Parker. They’re playful, passionate, and truly caring people. They don’t seem to have allowed their parents’ multiple marriages to affect them too much, however, they are a little jaded when it comes to love and marriage. But they do seem open to love. LittleBlackBook has proven to be able to be anywhere and everywhere when it comes to spying and getting information. It has also proven that it doesn’t care who gets hurt by the images or information it posts. While Chloe is fine with leaving them alone, Parker and Eliza aren’t, and have started to attempt to piece things together. The Little Black Book of Secrets series is off to a good start and promises to just get better.
