Discover a love greater than time…
From the minute Bridget Marshall began renovating the old Irish Castle she bought outside the Village of Shansally, Ireland (pop. 119) she’d been on the verge of being labeled another “Silly American.” But after years of managing other people’s hotels, she’s ready to run one herself. And nothing will get in her way, not even her grumpy next-door neighbor, Liam O’Flannagain.
Soon, though, the dream Bridget’s been waiting for is becoming a living nightmare. The renovations, not to mention the budget, are out of control, and someone—or something—is determined to get her out of the castle. And if that wasn’t enough, whenever she’s with Liam, the castle’s ancient past seems to come roaring to life, sweeping them along in a story they’re apparently destined to relive.
If she is to uncover the castle’s secrets, Bridget will need Liam’s help to figure out exactly how they’re connected…before the tragic past repeats itself.

“Liam stepped through and pulled the cord to turn on the closest light hanging from the rafters. He scanned the sparse space. “Anything in particular you think is haunted?”
I shook my head, spotting the flashlight leaning against the wall closest to the circuit breaker. I walked over to it, keeping my hands in my coat pockets. “No. I just could swear I heard a voice here when I first moved in.”
“Not entirely impossible, all things considered,” Liam said, moving back to lean against the doorframe.
The matter-of-fact way he said the words made my mind stall. Somehow I’d ended up in a world where hearing voices wasn’t a one-way ticket to a psychiatrist. Not what I was planning when I moved here.
“Have you ever heard voices?” I asked, trying to ignore the faint buzz in my skin that I was relatively certain had more to do with the gravitational pull I was feeling toward Liam than anything else.
“No, but I never had anyone else in these, either, until you, so it seems we shouldn’t rule anything out.”
I grabbed the flashlight before hesitating. I hovered my free hand over the stone wall, looking back at him. “Should I? Or do we think it’s just when you touch things?”
“Couldn’t say, but this wasn’t the original stable.” Liam looked up at the bare wood rafters. “This is probably from near when they built the new castle. I doubt anything was here seven hundred years ago to trigger something, even if you can cause one to happen yourself.”
“Don’t rule anything out, right?” I pressed my palm to the stone.
My stomach jerked, my entire body jarring as though I’d been thrown to the ground. Pain radiated through my skull, sharper than anything I’d experienced, like a vise was squeezing down on it. I felt the urge to retch, bile churning from the sensation, but it seemed my body had already, perhaps luckily, lost control of itself again. Wherever I was in Lady Ellyn’s life, it wasn’t a time she vomited. Forcing my eyes to focus, I found her staring up at a clear night sky, filled with more stars than I had ever seen in my life. Tiny white pinpricks dotted the sky, the black looking impossibly dark against a celestial white-silver streak that ran directly overhead. The stars there sat so close-packed that they could have been clouds. Tints of blue and pink shimmered in places the longer I looked at it. The beauty of such a different sky made me forget what had just happened before Ellyn shifted slightly. Suddenly, I realized she was resting her head on Liam’s chest. Or rather Cian’s chest. The homespun wool of his cloak scratched her cheek, the increasingly familiar earthy, almost grassy, scent of him engulfing her.
