If you follow me on social media, then you know I’m really into Christmas. Like I start thinking about it in July. Personally, I have three trees in my house. That’s not counting the trees my kids have in their rooms. (In a reader group I’m in there’s a lady who has 14. Thus, having 5 isn’t so bad.) When I say I start thinking about Christmas in July, I actually spent 4th of July weekend searching the internet for Peanut/Charlie Brown ornaments. Yep, one tree is Peanuts-themed.
All of that brings me to my question. If you celebrate Christmas, have you decorated already? If not, when do you plan to do so? If you don’t celebrate Christmas just leave “Grinch” for your comment. Psst. I’ll still like you. How the Grinch Stole Christmas the Jim Carrey version is one of my favorite Christmas movies.

We have started but we do not have a tree yet. we have lights out front and other items in the house up but the tree is the kicker.

ReplyDeleteWe normally decorate the week before Christmas, and take the decorations down just after Ukrainian New Years.

ReplyDeleteI haven't decorated yet, over the weekend we got a lot of rain and I didn't want us to track mud inside but hopefully this weekend we will get it done
ReplyDeleteMy husband insisted on being outside on Thanksgiving Day in the rain and cold putting up decorations. Luckily, it wasn't heavy rain like they said there would be.

DeleteMy son and husband are on a business trip and I thought I would decorate while they were gone for 2 weeks. I started deep cleaning though, lol.

ReplyDeleteThat's probably the worst thing about having cats. Luckily mine don't try to climb the trees. They just like to chew on the branches every once in awhile. One helped (not) my husband put lights on the stairs.
DeleteI haven't decorated at all yet. The intentions were there last weekend, and hopefully it will actually happen this weekend! Fake tree an non-breakable ornaments this year due to a new cat that I know will knock over tree at least once.

Yes, I celebrate Christmas, and my house is decorated inside only not out. I decorate the first weekend after remembrance day. Thanks for the chance.
