When a man, haunted by secrets, reunites with the only woman who’s ever ignited his soul, he’ll do anything to prove he’s more than his mistakes.

From the moment I laid eyes on her in Vegas, I knew tattoo artist Jordan Deveraux was my destiny.

Our chemistry was too fiery to ignore, one night of passion could never be enough.

Walking away was agony.

Easily, the biggest regret of my life.

Years later, I’m successful and rich but still crave my siren of the sea.

Her game of pretend doesn’t mask the heat still smoldering between us.

Little does she know, I have the roadmap to turn her fantasies into reality.

Stranded in my boat, the waves aren’t the only things rocking.

Her ability to resist me sinks faster than a lead anchor.

Here’s the catch—my past isn’t as spotless as the buildings I design.

And my secrets threaten to pull us under.

Can we navigate these turbulent waters to find a future?

Or, will my mistake capsize everything?

The Tryst List is a sizzling, standalone, billionaire, enemies to lovers, forced proximity tale of second chances, where the ink of passion and the scars of the past collide.
Diving into the enemies-to-lovers romance genre has been a fun journey of balancing a literary tightrope—transforming intense dislike/hate into a solid love story and HEA.

Over the course of writing my three books with this trope—The Hate Date, The Flirt Alert, and The Tryst List—I've grappled with unique challenges in my attempt to craft intricate tales of love from the ashes of animosity.

In The Hate Date, I navigated the delicate evolution of Joar and Clover's relationship, from suspicion and seduction to a love that unfolds unexpectedly, only to be crushed by her realization of Joar’s deception. Crafting a believable journey from suspicion to surrender demanded calibration of tension and chemistry so I could ensure their transition felt as natural and compelling.

With The Flirt Alert, I had a different challenge—exploring the complexities of a long-held grudge. Austin's teenage love turned sour, and his subsequent animosity towards his best friend's sister, who later becomes his employee, sets the stage for a tumultuous reunion. Their path to rediscovery demanded a balance of their past hurts, her medical condition and the undeniable connection that still simmered between them. I feel like this story is a true testament to the fine line between love and hate.

My newest release, The Tryst List, is a complete 180 where I delve into the aftermath of Jordan & Peter’s unforgettable one-night stand in Vegas that left more questions than answers. Writing their story meant creating a believable scenario where heartbreak and retaliation could genuinely turn into a second chance at love. My goal was to convey a nuanced understanding of their motivations and the capacity for growth and forgiveness.

Across all three books, maintaining the initial tension between my characters, without alienating readers, is crucial. It’s also essential to ensure the conflicts underlying the enemies-to-lovers dynamic which drives them apart are formidable but not insurmountable.

I spent a long time on character development and background to show each character’s motivations, flaws, and growth. Spending time fleshing out these elements is pivotal in transitioning from conflict to chemistry.

I’m also a huge fan of steering clear of clichés and writing each story with a fresh twist on the popular trope.

My journey through the world of enemies-to-lovers romances has been fun, there’s something fascinating about a love story which starts in conflict and morphs into a deep, undeniable love.
