I loved Kimberly Shrack’s Spooky Scouts! From the moment I opened the book, the colorful, playful illustrations had me in awe.
Luna is a wolf pup who loves being a Spooky Scout more than anything. She has been looking forward to the Spooky Scouts' annual camping trip, but in all her excitement, she forgets it coincides with a full moon. Luna knows that she has to stay away from the full moon because there’s a little something different about her. Through a series of unfortunate events, Luna’s secret is discovered by her friends. To her relief, they accept her as she is and even share a few embarrassing secrets of their own.
Spooky Scouts is a delightful and fun story about friendship and acceptance.
