Beth Fred is a full time ELF keeper (you have to read her books to understand what this means) and part time writer/blogger/writing instructor. Beth’s represented by Kathleen Rushall of Marsal Lyons Literary Agency. She likes her tea hot, her romance sweet, and her guys chivalrous. Beth thinks real men hold open doors, refer to you as ma'am, make promises they keep, and aren't afraid to profess their undying love. She believe it's not breakfast if there aren't carbs(at least, not in the South). Fajitas, carnitas, and churros are just few of her favorite things. Beth’s sure you can't guess where she’s from (winks).

Hi, Beth. Thanks for stopping by Read Your Writes Book Reviews. So I was curious, what advice would you give to the teenage Beth?
Thanks for having me, Kim!

Advice I would give the teen me:
10. Hang in there, things will be better soon.09. Study more. Take school more seriously.08. It’s okay that you don’t fit in. You don’t have to.07. You hang out with people who do things you don’t, because you have no one else to hang out with. Stop.06. Don’t do anything you don’t really want to do. Don’t let people talk you into things.05. There is someone in your life right now who tells you negative things about yourself daily. Ignore it.04. Take the time to figure out who you are right now. It will save you time later.03. You are strong and beautiful. Be confident in that, and don’t let what other people think about you, or what you think other people might think about you cloud your self image or the decisions you make.02. Be nice even when other people aren’t. It’s not fair—I know, but it will be better in the end.01. You’ll meet the perfect man, at least for you, in 2007. Quit worrying about it until then. Spend the time you waste with the losers you’re dating studying, or writing. Actually, start a blog. I think that’s a good idea for you. Don’t ask me how I know.
Thanks so much for hosting me!
