Tamara Hoffa lives in central Tennessee, with her husband of 30 years, her three grown children, two grandchildren, 3 dogs and 2 cats. Tamara started reading when she was four years old and has rarely been seen without a book at hand since. At home you will usually find her in “nana’s chair” with her kindle, her laptop or one of her precious, precocious grandson’s in her lap. Hi Tamara. Welcome the Read Your Writes Book Reviews. Could you please introduce yourself?

Hi, Kim, thanks for having me here on RYWBR. I am 48 years old. I live in central Tennessee, with my husband of 30 years, my three children and my two grandsons, 5 dogs and 2 cats. I still have a “day job” as a hairdresser. I edit, run a blog site and write. So you can see I’m a pretty busy lady.

You are a relatively new author. Your first novella, HEART OF A SOLDIER, was released last year. Your latest release is ROPING LOVE, please tell us about it.

Roping Love is a second chance at love story. Carrie and Chance were young lovers, but circumstances tore them apart. Ten years have passed and they meet again. The sparks still fly between the two lovers, and while Chance wants to pick up where they left off. Carrie doesn’t want to risk her heart again, with the one man who previously left it in pieces.

What do you, Tamara, love about Chance and Carrie? I personally love their love and commitment to their families and each other.

I love Carrie’s strength and joie de vivre. I love Chance’s loyalty to his family, and strong sense of honor.

My BIG burning question….Is there going to be a sequel, featuring Chase Ryan?

I’m not sure yet. I had intended Roping Love to be a stand alone title. But, if the readers want more, I may write stories for Chance’s brothers, Chase and Cody.

I’m a reader who would LOVE to have a story on the other Ryan brothers!!!!

Tamara, thank you for allowing me interview you and read ROPING LOVE. Is there anything you would like to add?

As you mentioned, I am new to the writing industry. But, it has been an amazing journey. I’d like to tell everyone that it’s never too late to follow your dreams. And start today, because you don’t know if you will have a tomorrow.
