Until a trip into work on Christmas Day leaves her snowbound in the Fifth Avenue department store with her boss’s far-too-tempting playboy son Ryder Sinclair. Ryder’s rugged, reckless and none too pleased to be stuck in a place he hates with an uptight workaholic like Kate—but as the night draws on, the lights go out and the temperature rises, until they’re both wondering is this the season to get lucky?
REVIEW
I loved this story. ‘Tis the Season to Get Lucky was so much more than I was expecting. This is definitely a Christmas romance NOT to be missed. Appearances are not always as they seem and this story is a perfect example of that. ‘Tis the Season to Get Lucky made me laugh, smile, and fall in love with Ryder and Kate.
Ryder Sinclair is the heir apparent to the Sinclair department store. He doesn’t make a lot of appearances at the store but he pulls down a pretty nice paycheck. Ryder is seen as a jet setting playboy without a care in the world. Kate Braithwaite is spending her first Christmas in America. Her new job as a PR manager for Sinclair’s is very important to her and she loves it. She loves it so much so....she’s willing to go to work on Christmas Day, without being asked to.
Ryder happens to be in the store on Christmas Day looking for a present. He doesn’t expect anyone to be there and is surprised to find Kate there. With a large snow storm approaching, the two end up being trapped in the store, waiting for the storm to pass and the lights to come back on. But in the midst of everything, these two discover that they made rash judgements about each other and this Christmas they are going to receive one of the best presents ever...a love like no other.
