LOVE ON THE BOARDWALK by Christi Barth ~ Hero Profile

My Hero’s A Hot Cop – What Else Could You Possibly Need To Know?
Love on the Boardwalk, my sexy, rebound fling, Atlantic City caper released on Monday. It is funny, suspenseful…did I mention sexy already? Well, a large part of that sexalicious factor is due to my hot cop hero, Bradley Hudson. He’s a detective with the Maryland State Police, trying to shake off a broken engagement with a week of fun in Atlantic City. Pretty quickly, he abandons the typical distractions of gambling, drinking and strip clubs to concentrate on seducing a quirky redhead. But you don’t want to hear me ramble on about him. Here’s Brad in his own words, answering some questions:
Age:
29 – aka old enough that my mom pesters me for grandbabies every time I go to dinner at her house. Needing to find the right woman first doesn’t seem to enter into her equation.

Physical Description:
Everyone says I look just like my cousin/best friend, Coop. I say that I have better luck hooking up than he does, so I’m probably hotter. (since Brad’s not cooperating, I’ll tell you to visit my Pinterest page to find out what he looks like: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/164451823866148365/)

Likes:
Catching bad guys. A boat load of guacamole & chips. Long rides on my motorcycle with someone fun hanging on tight behind me.

Dislikes:
Bad guys. Women who decide their career with fast-track potential is more important than marrying their fiancé.

Relationship Status:
I’m on a freaking honeymoon without an actual wife. My status is piss-poor, thanks for the reminder.

Typical Friday Night:
Sometimes stuck on a stakeout, eating cold pizza in a car with Coop. Better nights are when we get to eat hot pizza and then throw back some beers waiting for the band to start.

Drink of Choice:
Dark rum. Mixed, straight – I don’t care – just keep it coming.

Favorite Food:
I never turn down a steak. But I can eat my own weight in fajitas, every day of the week.

Favorite Song:
Kid Rock, ‘Born Free’

Choice of Transportation:
Motorcycle. But if I get to choose anything, I’d slide behind the wheel of a Jaguar XK convertible. Not on a cop’s salary, of course.

Boxers or Briefs:
If you want to know that badly, you should come check out the situation yourself.

Best Memory to Date:
The day I made detective. No, strike that. The first murderer Coop and I collared as partners. That was when I knew I’d be making a difference.

Check out more of Bradley Hudson in Love on the Boardwalk.

Atlantic City is the perfect place for detective Bradley Hudson to nurse his broken heart. A week of beer and strippers is sure to erase his former fiancĂ©e from his memory for good. What he didn’t count on was running into a sassy redhead from his past. Maybe a rebound romp is an even better plan…

Trina Trimble, private eye in training, is thrilled to be reunited with the hottie she almost hooked up with last summer. She’s undercover on her first solo case, but there’s always time to lock lips with a sexy cop. Besides, a fun fling with Brad doesn’t have to last beyond his week in town.

Brad and Trina are supposed to be just flirting, not forging a new forever. Brad’s still healing, and although Trina changes careers the way other women change shoes, she has finally found her calling in her new life of disguises and stakeouts. But when an irresistible job offer threatens to lure her away, Brad will need to decide to let her go or bet it all on love and risk his heart again.
