Rebuilding New Orleans...one witch at a time

Contractor Storm Morgeaux is trying to keep her business afloat and not sleep with the hot-'n'-sexy new client, Dr. Nathan Davis. Adding to her troubles is the fact she accidentally released a series of dark spells. Now evil warlocks are after her family, and she has no idea who she can trust.

Nathan's biggest concern is getting his pediatric surgery center up and running. Still, his stunning new contractor provides plenty of distraction―until she sets off his Paladin medallion. A warlock is near. Nathan's first responsibility is eliminating the woman who wields new and dangerous magic. But something about Storm calls to him. She's mysterious, sexy, and downright irresistible, but most surprisingly, his.

Without the spells, Storm must learn to trust her new abilities. But can she trust the man who's torn between loving her...and killing her?

REVIEW
Bewitching the Enemy is an enjoyable paranormal romance featuring witches, warlocks, shifters and Paladins a.k.a warlock hunters.
When Storm Morgeaux is late returning home from work she never anticipates the chain of events that will unfold.  A chain of events that involves spells, evil warlocks, new found abilities and a sexy doctor.  A doctor who just so happens to hunt warlocks on the side.  When Storm and Nathan become acquainted in many aspects of their lives, the attraction is instant but something isn’t right and Nate’s warlock warning device is working overtime.
I liked the characters and the general storyline but I must admit that I was expecting it to hold more magic; considering the Morgeaux sisters are new to their witchy-abilities, they seemed to take it a bit too much in their stride.  I also felt certain parts of the story seemed to building up to more but faded away a little.  But that said, it does hold some surprises and I'm hopeful elements of the story will continue as the series does.  Dawn Chartier has created a likeable cast of characters and a story with potential.  I look forward to seeing where she takes the sisters' journey next, Brye in particular.
