Meg Rosenthal: Matchmaker by day, realist by night, Meg is not about to get swept away by a charming, darkly handsome businessman in a designer suit.

She’s come to a beautiful secluded resort to evaluate the private island’s potential for her agency, not to ogle its owner. But there’s something about the magnetic man that’s hard to resist, even for a woman who refuses to fall in love.

Valentino Masini: A successful and drop-dead sexy businessman, Valentino is used to having the finer things in life. Yet he’s never wanted someone the way he wants Meg, who’s stirring up a hurricane of trouble in his heart. But just as he decides to convince her to stay, someone else decides it might be time to get Meg off the island...permanently.

REVIEW
One of the reasons I love reading Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides Series is because I get the romance I crave with an element of suspense that I love.

Margaret “Meg” Rosenthal is the newest matchmaker for Alliance.  While attending the wedding of a client, she hears about the uber private island resort of Sapore di Amore, located in the Florida Keys.  The resort is so private that in order to even become a guest, you have to be cleared by having a background check.  Thinking this would be a great destination for future clients, Meg enlists the help of Hollywood superstar and heartthrob, Michael Wolfe.  The two pose as a couple to see if the resort truly is as private and impenetrable as the owner, Valentino Masini says it is.

Valentino “Val” Masini has worked hard to take care of his family and establish a business exclusively for the rich and famous who want to enjoy a nice little getaway from prying eyes.  Val doesn’t usually get involved with guests, but he is totally intrigued with the woman who politely refuses to be refused access to his resort.

What starts as a simple dinner and conversation sets off a chain of events Meg, Michael, and Val don’t see coming.  Before the story ends Meg’s life will be threatened, Michael’s career could come to an end, Val could lose something more important than money, and Alliance will gain a new employee.

I’ve now read three of the six Weekday Brides books.  I love the unwavering friendship the characters in this series have.  These people will truly go to the ends of the earth and risk their life for each other.

I don't know how she does it but Catherine Bybee has written another wonderfully, fantastic book.  Seduced by Sunday mixes the right amount of both romance and suspense.  Catherine throws in surprises that you won’t see coming.  From start to finish, this is a book you are not going to want to put down.

    1. You're welcome. You kept me up reading the book late at night. But, I guess I shouldn't have started it at 11:30 pm.
