Sadie Hart and Royce Dixon were high school sweethearts, who had their futures planned out. Unfortunately, they had different ideas of what the future was. Sadie had dreams of making it big in Nashville. Royce’s dream was simply to train horses and do the rodeo circuit. He ended up taking over running Second Chance Ranch with her mother after his father’s death. The two reconnect when Sadie returns to Hope Springs, Wyoming penniless and in need of a job. Royce just so happens to need to find a female employee or risk losing the ranch.
The two never expected their long dormant feelings to resurface so quickly or strongly. Just when things are looking good for these two, the lure of fame comes knocking. Sadie is going to have to decide if a life with Royce in Hope Springs is the dream she’s wanted all along or not.
Cindi Madsen’s Second Chance Ranch is a wonderful second chance love story. With likeable lead and secondary characters, this is a really good introduction to a new series. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next.
