Find Me (The Donovan Family, #3)
by: Margaret Watson
Series: Donovan Family
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: December 9, 2013
Source: Author

After witnessing the murder of an FBI agent in a parking garage late one night, Lizzy Monroe meets with the FBI and agrees to work with a sketch artist. But on her way out of the office, she comes face to face with the killer – another FBI agent. She knows from experience what happens when a criminal is a member of law enforcement – cops protect their own. So when the killer shows up at her door later that morning, she knows she has no choice but to run.

From the moment he sees her, Mac Donovan is intrigued by – and in lust with – their beautiful witness. After Lizzy disappears, he spends his free time tracking her down. When he finally finds her on a remote island in the San Juans, their chemistry is explosive and the sex is even hotter. But he's hiding his identity from her. What will happen when she discovers who he really is? Will she be able to forgive his betrayal? Or will the killer find them first?

Find Me was a very good book. Margaret Watson did an excellent job of keeping the story going at a great pace. The characters were very relatable and I really wanted them to be together at the end. There are great messages about family and trust that easily translate to the real world.

FBI Agent Cormac “Mac” Donovan finds himself enamored by the only eyewitness to the murder of a fellow FBI agent. The witness who has never met him, Elizabeth “Lizzy” Monroe hasn't had any good experiences with law enforcement so she goes on the run after realizing that the murderer may also be a federal agent. Desperate to find her, Mac spends 3 months in his off time tracking her down.  He tries to convince himself that his motivation is totally professional but his actions and hormones prove otherwise. They end up naked and between the sheets before he gets the chance to reveal himself to her. That sets off a complicated chain of events that jeopardizes their future together and the investigation. Once the dust settles, Mac and his sibling cops put their lives in danger to protect Lizzy.

It was very entertaining to watch these two attempt to deceive each other and their hearts. I especially loved Lizzy’s loyal dog, Franny who plays a major role in catching the true killer. I have not read the other books in this series but I will. The sibling cops rip each other like children but they still believe in family first.
