Dr. Carla Androghetti is not interested in compromise.
With a thriving psychiatry practice in Washington, D.C. and a fulfilling position as a sexual third in a threesome with couples at Club D, she's living just the way she wants. When the murder of a famous former bedmate brings a sexy, tempting cop into her life, she indulges in an affair as sizzling as it is dangerous. Finding a man who can love her and accept her kink is a dream she’d given up a long time ago.
Homicide Detective Aiden Cross takes no prisoners.
Usually nothing can distract him from a case, but a sexy shrink with an unusual kink has him losing his laser-focus on the job. He’s been burned before by a cheating ex-wife and he doesn’t share, so why does he keep finding himself in the bed of a woman who breaks all his rules?
Passion will force them to take a risk.
When forbidden desire takes them to the edge of their personal limits, their walls will need to crumble if they have any chance together.

**Warning: This book features a heroine with a sexy kink. She's not broken, or damaged, or waiting for the right guy to "fix" her. She's fine the way she is but if the guy who can love ALL of her comes along . . . she's ready.**

He cursed and spun me around, not letting go of my wrists. In this position, we were pressed together from chest to thigh and neither one of us struggled to increase the distance between us. I looked up at him, my heels closing the gap between us but he was still taller, a towering bulk of muscle and man taking up all the available space.

“So, Senator Marsden wanted to fuck you? He wanted you all to himself?” He examined my face, the wicked grin tugging at his mouth incongruous with the unleashed anger that made his muscles tremor. “I don’t blame him. I don’t like to share either.” He leaned in even closer and this time his words were spoken against my lips, each syllable laced with the sharp tang of forbidden lust. “I knew you were lying to me and I still wanted you.”

“And you don’t want me anymore?’ The words were sliding over my tongue before my brain could censor. Laced with honeyed seduction, they were calculated to make something happen here that I didn’t know if either of us was ready for.

“I shouldn’t.”

I recalled what he’d said the first time we’d met. “Because I’m a dangerous woman.”

“Fuck yeah, you are,” Aiden leaned down closer, his lips brushing over mine before he pulled back slightly. “I’m going to do something really stupid here. Speak now if you don’t want my hands all over you.”

I stared at him, taking a moment to weigh my options but there was really only one choice.  I tugged at the cuffs. “Leave these on.”

“Goddam,” he huffed out on the last breath before his mouth covered mine.

“You want something?” I glared up at him pulling on the handcuffs, a move that only made his lips twist in a smile that only be described as devilishly evil. I shivered with almost giddy anticipation. This guy was so bad for me and I loved it. “You want me to touch you, Doc? Here?” His rough fingers grazed the skin on my neck, tracing a path down to my collarbone, lingering over the “V” of my blouse. “Here? That feels good, right?”

“It could feel better, you bastard,” I gritted out.

“I think you need to tell me what you want, Doc. I don’t have special head-shrinking powers like you do.”

“Fuck you.” His attitude was pissing me off and making me hotter for him. That pissed me off even more.

“I’d love to fuck you, Doc. Bury my dick so deep in your pussy and keep you wet all night long.” He ran a fingertip along the edge of blouse, dipping in to tease the curve of my breast. I whimpered and pressed my body against his touch. “But you’ve got to use your words first.”

I gave in on a growl. “I want you to touch my breast, pinch my nipple. Suck on it. Bite it.” I licked my lips. “Do it now.”

“Next time I’ll make you ask nicely,” he said before he released the top two buttons on my blouse and roughly shoved my bra to the side.

The colder air of the room hit my flesh for the briefest second before his mouth was on my nipple and all there was wet and heat and the rough velvet of his tongue.

“Jesus,” I moaned, thrusting myself deeper into his mouth as he sucked in a slow and steady rhythm. My breasts were sensitive, his attention increasing the wetness slicking my thighs under my skirt. I squeezed my legs together, trying to create some friction to get me off.

Because I really fucking needed to get off. Detective Cross had wound me up since the moment I’d met him and this was just the culmination of a week of foreplay.

He pulled off my tit with a pop and looked up at me from under the fringe of dark lashes. His cheeks were ruddy with arousal underneath his stubble, lips swollen with our kisses but it was his smile that took my already ragged breath.

“Get on your knees, Doc.”
