These business rivals had one night—and now there’s a nine-month surprise on the way in the latest Texas Cattleman's Club: The Wedding novel by Karen Booth.

Can they put that one unforgettable night behind them

and keep things strictly business?

Sharing the bed of high-profile chef Colin Reynolds during a blackout was a mistake florist Corryna Lawson can’t afford to repeat. Especially now that they’re working together on a celebrity wedding at the Texas Cattleman’s Club. As the two collaborate on flowers and food, Corryna finds Colin nearly impossible to resist…and maybe she doesn’t want to. But then she discovers she’s carrying his baby…

From Harlequin Desire: Passionate and provocative stories featuring rich, powerful heroes and scandalous family sagas.

Corryna Lawson has lived in Royal for eight years. She’s a divorcee and owner of the florist shop, Royal Blooms. The shop is run by a skeleton crew, but is successful, although the financials should definitely be better.

Irish chef Colin Reynolds is the owner and head chef of Royal’s uber-popular and successful Sheen restaurant. In fact, Colin is from a family of very talented chefs. His parents own Reynolds Hospitality, which has restaurants across Ireland and the UK. Contrary to popular belief, Colin has always been his own person and hasn’t had any help from his family to become the chef he is today.

Corryna and Colin don’t necessarily know each other. Colin once tried to pick up Corryna at a bar located in the TCC and she turned him down. In her mind, Colin retaliated by canceling his restaurant order, making Royal Blooms’ tight bottom line even tighter. When Royal experiences a blackout, Corryna thinks Colin owes her and demands that he allows her to store all of her flowers in the restaurant’s refrigerator so she doesn’t lose her inventory.

The night of the blackout is the first time Colin realizes who Corryna is. He apologizes for the canceled order and the two end up sharing a drink. With a sizzling attraction between the two, they end up sharing more than just a drink in Colin’s office. While Colin wants more time with Corryna, she has absolutely no problem saying, it’s been nice, goodbye, and never seeing him again.

Hollywood actress Ariana Ramos is marrying Royals’ own best-selling author, Xavier Noble. The two have decided to get married in Royal and have everything done locally, which includes the food and flowers. Wedding planner Rylee Meadows wants the food and flowers to be cohesive. This means that Corryna and Colin must work closely together. Neither can afford to not be part of this wedding. Soon time spent collaborating together results in kissing and the removal of clothes. Before they know it these enemies turned lovers discover their passion has a surprising result.

Corryna and Colin were great characters. Their passion was intense and their relationship was drama free. Four Weeks to Forever is the third book in the Texas Cattleman’s Club: The Wedding series, however, it can be read as a standalone read. Without question, this is one of my favorite Karen Booth books. And, that says a lot as she’s one of my favorite authors.

Karen Booth is a midwestern girl transplanted in the South, raised on ’80s music and repeated readings of Forever by Judy Blume. Karen writes contemporary romance and women’s fiction, almost always about the dreamy guy you never thought you’d get. Her stories are full of breathless kisses, tearjerker moments, complex family dynamics, and more than a few things she’s glad her grandmother never read.

When she’s not creating hunky fictional men and the women who test them, she’s listening to everything from Otis Redding to Duran Duran to Superchunk with her college-age kids, honing her Southern cooking skills (she makes some mean collards), or sweet-talking her astoundingly supportive husband into whipping up a batch of cocktails.

Karen is co-founder of the 4500+ member Seasoned Romance Facebook group, devoted to the promotion of romance with characters 35+. She has been a finalist for RT Magazine’s Series Romance of the Year, RT Magazine’s Gold Seal of Excellence, the National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award (NERFA), the Booksellers’ Best Award, and the Holt Medallion. Her books have been translated into seventeen languages.
