Amor Actually is an anthology consisting of nine novellas from seven best-selling Latina authors. This anthology centers around Christmas Eve Or Nochebuena, and all the stories are connected via different characters.

For my review, I read five of the nine stories, and all were 5-star reads. Outside of Sabrina Sol, all the authors are new to me.

Only Yours by Sabrina Sol is a workplace romance, told in first person. It ends with an HFN, with the promise of a HEA.

Meet Me Under the Mistletoe by Priscilla Oliveras is a forbidden relationship told in third person. Hector Gutierrez is a widowed father to an 11-year-old son. Hector is attracted to his son’s band teacher. After two years, his wife’s best friend thinks it’s time for him to move on with his life. She pushes him to bring a date to the Christmas Eve dinner. The push is just what Hector and his son need. This story ends with an HFN, with the promise of a HEA.

Santa’s Eager Little Helper by Mia Sosa was not what I was expecting. Mia definitely brought fireworks. Santa’s Eager Little Helper was a very nice, very hot friends-to-lovers workplace romance.

The Nochebuena Dating Dare by Diana Muñoz Stewart was definitely my favorite story of the novellas that read from this anthology.

Eneida is a divorced mother who wants to pick up the pieces of her life. She’s attracted to the musical director at her school, and when she starts dating two months after her divorce is finalized, she isn’t prepared for all the guilt she feels from simply going on one date. This story is full of passion and desire. It’s definitely hot and spicy. I loved that the story didn't truly play out the way I thought it would.

Love in Spanglish by Zoey Castile blew me away. I was not prepared for the heat. Zoey scorched the rest of the books I read. I’m a non-Spanish speaker, so this story required more usage of my trusty translator app. However, Callie the heroine, doesn’t necessarily speak fluent Spanish herself. When she gets snowed in with the hero, their language becomes love.
