Prince of Swords picks up exactly where Arcana Academy left off. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I definitely wasn’t prepared for the events of Prince of Swords. Elise has upped the violence. Clara continues to be a strong, courageous character, facing anything and everything that comes her way. Kaelis shows a softer side to Clara and her friends, but he continues to prove that he isn’t someone you should cross.
Where Arcana Academy left more questions than answers, Prince of Swords responded by filling in some of those blanks. Elise continues to throw in surprises and twists, some of which will absolutely leave you heartbroken.
Spoiler: If you thought the ending of Arcana Academy left you speechless, you haven’t seen anything yet. Prepare yourself for an unbelievable trip through the hallways and secret passageways of Arcana Academy and journey through the streets of Eclipse City and beyond, where your cards can mean life or death.
