BAD BOYS OF ROMANCE BLOG HOP

herding cats & burning soup

Oh you know you love them. Those "bad boys" of romance.
And now we're celebrating them and all their naughty deliciousness.

Which "bad boy" revs your motor? Is he a hero? Villain? A secondary character?

The "bad boys" get their time to shine from June 7th-June 17th in the "Bad Boys" of Romance Giveaway Hop hosted by
herding cats & burning soup, Rantings of a Reading Addict and author Blue Remy!

Bad boys are SO S-E-X-Y

This is my first hop of this nature.  I will admit I JUMPED at the chance to be a part of it.  Then after I signed up I was like, “Well crap.  I don’t know any BAD BOYS.”  I mean really, I usually fall in love with all the guys I read about, thus I don’t think of them as being bad in the end.  Then the book Gods shined down on me and presented me with two wonderful guys last week.  It’s SO hard to choose just one.

First up is Evan Ashford from S.L. Scott’s GOOD VIBRATIONS.

Amazon Link

Yeah, yeah, Evan is too young for me.  He’s from a New Adult novel which is currently out in paperback and coming out in eBook next week.  You can read my review here.

Evan is a guy with some issues.  He has a troubled past that I have yet to figure out.  Evan is hot, arrogant, but he has this confidence about himself.  Well, at least until you break down his walls and get to know the real him.  He really does have a good heart.

Evan is from New York’s high society but is currently a surf coach that works and lives in Hawaii. He has some parent issues but hey who doesn’t?  He drives a Maserati GranCabrio and lives in the guest house of his parent’s estate.  I mean come on, just because you guys aren’t getting along doesn’t mean that you still can’t enjoy the benefits of the wealth you were born into.

My next guy is what true dreams are made of.  Mick Blackwell is from Robin Covington’s PLAYING THE PART.

Amazon Link

PLAYING THE PART is from Entangled Publishing’s Brazen Line.  I so love Brazen.....Mick is ALL kinds of hot.... Okay, so he’s HOT SEX personified.  Mick is a huge action star.  He draws in mega bucks being the franchise star of the John Dark movies but Mick’s a playboy.  He isn’t into commitments.  In fact, the most important girl in his life is Ali.  Ali is his vintage 1968 Shelby Cobra GT-350 car.

Mick likes to say things like, “Did you like joining the Mile High Club?” - Well of course.

or there’s

“You have an amazing heart, you’re so smart and strong.  You kick my ass when I get out of line, you’ve got my back against the world, and those glasses still turn me on like nothing else.” - Well thank you VERY much.

Oh.  I forgot one of the most important things about Mick that makes him really the bad boy to end all bad boys.  Robin’s inspiration was none other than...Shemar Moore.  Seriously, when you’re reading the book, it’s like Shemar is whispering the words in your ears.

Yeah, my guys are smart, hot, charming, sexy, and know how to please a woman in the bedroom, on the beach, in the car, against a wall and so many other places.  Is it getting hot in here or is it just me?  Be sure to check out these books for yourself.

~HONORABLE MENTIONS~

Jack Vaughan (Undercover ATF agent) - ACCIDENTAL AFFAIR by Leslie McKelvy
- Dressed in full TAC gear saying, “It sucks to be you.”

Galen Thomas (Former boxer) - DOWN FOR THE COUNT by Christine Bell
- “When you come to your senses and you're ready to have the experience of a lifetime, I'm your guy.  I'm the one you're going to get wild with.  I'm the one who's going to show you that getting down and dirty doesn't mean rolling in the wet sand.”

Jared Quinn (Quarterback) - GAME FOR MARRIAGE by Karen Erickson
- “And I’m ready to make a bet I could seduce you with words alone.”

Kade Dennon (Former FBI agent turned hired gun) - TURNING POINT by Tiffany Snow
- “You can lie to yourself all you want, but I’m the one you should be with.”

Tony Mazzara (Contractor) - HOW TO MISBEHAVE by Ruthie Knox
- “Honey, somebody’s got to teach you how to misbehave.  You’re doing it all wrong.”

With this hop, you get to enter not one but two different giveaways.  The GRAND prize giveaway has several books up for grabs.  As I said before, I can’t decide on just one guy.  So, GOOD VIBRATIONS by S.L. Scott and PLAYING THE PART by Robin Covington are up for grabs.  The winner will be able to choose which book they would like to have in eBook format from Amazon.

  13. Mmmm… bad boys. Excuse me while I salivate. To pick just one bad boy is so very hard, but I will try! I enjoy Christian Grey (who wouldn't? Am I right, ladies?). His compulsive need to control is scary and hot all at the same time. Another bad boy who has me slobbering all over myself is Travis from "Beautiful Disaster!" A man who makes a living by punching the shit out of another man!?!?! Hold me back! Thanks for the giveaway! It's always a pleasure for me to participate in these, especially when the topic is so utterly delicious.
