Fall into Romance Giveaway Hop! (Oct 14-21)

Fall Into Romance! Share the romances that had you falling in love with the genre!
Or the ones that keep you smitten! Stop by each blog for new recommendations and giveaways!

I’m late. I’m late. I’m late for a very important event/moment/date.  Do you have the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland going through your mind now?  Let me help you out a little bit.

Now, you do. (Big Kim smile)

As I was saying...I’m late.  I didn’t really start reading until 2008/2009, after I saw the first Twilight movie and HAD to know what all the hype was about and what was going to happen next.  I devoured the books in record time.  But, I still wasn’t into reading.  My mom gave me a copy of The Return of Rafe MacKade by Nora Roberts, and I haven’t looked back. Nora Roberts made me commit financial infidelity by buying all the books in the MacKade Brothers series and then moving on to The MacGregors series.  We’re talking binge reading here.  Trust me, I became VERY good at creative accounting.  My husband only found out, because I’m a horrible liar and he keep wondering where all the books were coming from. Sigh.

What keeps me smitten with the romance genre are authors that I’ve come to love, who create these characters I just have to get to know.  There’s not enough time in the day to read all the authors and books I would like to read.  However, I’m a huge fan of Victoria James and Robin Bielman.  Victoria’s stories zero you in on what true love is all about. Have her throw in a kid or two and I’m a goner.  Her stories are touching and emotional. They have been known to bring me to tears.  But in the end, I always have this feeling of happiness and contentment.  Robin’s stories are a little more light hearted, at times.  She writes with humor and just makes you fall in love with the characters immediately and want to be apart of their lives.

If you haven’t read any of their books, then you are definitely missing out.

As I said, there are TONS of amazing authors out there.  I won’t list all of them, because this post would never end.  Comment below and tell me who some of your favorite romance authors are and why.  I’m giving away a Kindle ebook valued up to $4.99 USD.  I’m looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say.  This giveaway is international, as long as you can accept an eBook from Amazon US.  Good luck!

  17. I suppose that I was really hooked on historical romance after reading Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Then, I read Johanna Lindsey, and Judith McNaught, and on it went to most all of the historical romance authors. I've branched out now, and I read contemporary and paranormal romance also.

  18. I have so many, I could go on and on so I'll m going to limit myself to 5. I absolutely love Lisa Kleypas and Sarah MacLean for their ability to write historical romance that I want to forgo all of my modern make life easy contraptions and travel back. Gena Showalter and Kresley Cole for killer paranormals! And Kristen Ashley because I think she has her own way of writing that I think other authors are implementing.
