They’ve been hired to remodel a mansion. Will they end up getting a room?

Marisa Sanchez has grand designs for her future. After taking over her grandfather’s construction firm, the successful vlogger and civil engineer is about to take the next step with a new show on the Home Design Network. But she’s not pleased to find out she can only have the lucrative gig if she agrees to work with a handsome rival.

Levi Chance takes the responsibility of providing for his brothers seriously. So when his biggest client asks him to come into the spotlight to co-host a new program, he reluctantly accepts. But he fears the pretty, camera-loving partner he’s been assigned might bring his top-notch reputation tumbling down if she can’t deliver the goods.

Discovering her teammate is quite capable, Marisa battles her attraction to him as she ambitiously turns the project upside down. And the more Levi works with the smart Latina, the more he worries he’s about to push the “no sex” morality clause in their contract into forbidden territory.

Will Marisa and Levi’s fixer-upper turn into a happily together forever?

Renovated is the charming first book in the moving Chance Brothers contemporary romance series. If you like sparkling attractions, comedic moments, and steamy action, then you’ll love Nikki Kiley’s well-built romp.

Favorite way to spend an evening: I love long showers after being on the construction site all day, a great meal with the man I love, who shares in the prep work and clean up, and reading a great romance or catching up on my latest TV binge-watch.

3 things you like/love about yourself: I love my body, my sense of humor, my ability to find the bright side of everything

Best friend: Corinne - we’ve been best friends since I arrived in Miami at thirteen. She came with her mother, a client of Nana’s, to get on the school bus with me. After that, we’ve been inseparable.

Best memory to date: Renovated’s first reveal for the Dr’s Ortega, the expression on their face, the elation of being able to make this their forever home. They were so grateful and pleased with the results that we proved to the Home Network, and its success made the Network backing more shows.

If you could have a do-over, what would you do differently? Had I been upfront from the beginning about what had happened to my parents to Rebecca Walton, there would have been no surprises.

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Be a published author - I’m going to focus on how to non-fiction books. Applying my experience in home maintenance, construction, and design in my aesthetic to Home Design. My goal is to be the next Johanna and Chip Gaines, Martha Stewart, or Shea McGee of Home Design.

What profession would you not like to do? Health Service related (Doctor, Nurse, EMT)- faint at the sight of blood.

Most romantic gesture: I recruited Levi’s brother Dale to take him fishing, and I did a makeover of Levi’s man cave. I had my crew and the rest of his brothers do a total overhaul of the garage. There we created a workout, gaming, and pool table area with a bar. Believe me. He was not expecting any of that.

Words to live by: “When we leave this earth, there will not be a U-Haul with our crap following us. The pharaohs tried, and they got robbed. You can’t take it with you. We need to live our best life now. There’s no room for what might have been.”
