With all the annoyances, pain and sadness in the real world, I want my books to always have HEA/HFN endings. I read to escape from the junk in daily life-not to find more of it. Happy endings in the books I read are an absolute must!
ReplyDeleteI must have an HEA or HFN, but much perfer an HEA when all is said and done. (I hate cliffy's so even if there is more to the series I really want an HEA or HFN) Reading romance is supposed to be an escape and is supposed to be enjoyable. It's understood and welcomed to have turmoil and strife throughout a story but the whole point is to watch them get through it and find their true love and a happy life together. To have closure and not a gaping raw emotional wound at the end. lol
ReplyDeleteI'm liking your answers. Reading romance and reading in general is a pure escape. If I'm going to get invested in the characters lives, I want a happy ending. Real life is already hard.
ReplyDeleteAlways love HEAs. I like everything coming together with a nice shiny bow. It carries over into other things as well. I never have been one who can watch a TV show where there are continuing or lingering issues through episodes or even seasons. I like procedural shows where the killer or wrong-doer is found at the end. :)
ReplyDeleteI like your style. I'm still screaming over the ending of last season's Grimm.
DeleteI like the closure that a HEA or HFN gives you. Then I can move on that next great book!
ReplyDeleteI love a happy ending, know the H & H are living their lives out together makes me happy. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't much care for cliffhangers in romance books. HEA or HFN all the way!
ReplyDeleteThe last few years have been hard. Both of my grandmothers passed away and I have had major health issues. I need a HEA/HFN!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope things are getting better for you healthy wise. Good luck.
